Delivery, Returns & Cancellation Policy

Returns & Cancellation Requests

Customers may submit cancellation requests before delivery and return requests within 14 days of delivery through their customer account.

Once submitted, requests will be reviewed by our Customer Service team and customers will be notified of the outcome.

Cancellations Before Delivery

Customers may request cancellation of an order before it has been fulfilled.

Cancellation requests should be submitted through the customer account portal.

Orders for made-to-order, bespoke, customised or specially sourced products may not be eligible for cancellation once production or supplier processing has commenced.

Approved refunds will be returned using the original payment method used for purchase.

Returns & Right of Withdrawal

If you change your mind about your purchase, you may request a return within 14 days of receiving your goods.

To be eligible for a refund, returned goods must:

  • Be returned within the applicable period.
  • Include all original parts, fittings and accessories.
  • Be complete and undamaged.
  • Be in a condition suitable for resale.

Returning Goods

Customers are responsible for arranging and paying for the return of unwanted goods to our warehouse in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

If you are unable to return the goods yourself, Larry O'Keeffe Furniture may, at its discretion, arrange collection.

A collection charge of €49 applies to this service.

Collection charges are non-refundable and will be deducted from any refund due.

We do not reimburse return costs incurred through alternative arrangements unless agreed in advance.

Condition of Returned Goods

Customers are entitled to inspect goods in the same manner as they would in a retail showroom.

Where returned goods have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality, Larry O'Keeffe Furniture reserves the right to reduce any refund to reflect the resulting loss in value.

Examples may include:

  • Furniture that has been assembled.
  • Missing, damaged or heavily marked packaging.
  • Missing fittings, accessories or components.
  • Scratches, dents, stains or signs of use.
  • Goods that are no longer suitable for resale as new.

Any reduction in refund will be assessed individually following inspection of the returned goods.

Mattresses & Hygiene Products

For hygiene reasons, mattresses that have been removed from their original sealed packaging, used, slept on, stained or otherwise compromised cannot be returned unless they are faulty.

Mattresses returned under the withdrawal period must remain unopened, unused and in their original packaging.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the correct mattress size is ordered before purchase.

My Item Does Not Fit

Dimensions of all products are displayed on individual product pages.

Customers are responsible for measuring both the intended location of the furniture and the access route to that location, including doorways, hallways, staircases and other access points.

If an item does not fit and you wish to return it, you must submit a return request within the applicable 14-day return period.

The item must remain in a condition suitable for resale and be returned in accordance with this policy.

Returns Exclusions

Unless faulty, the following products are not eligible for return:

  • Made-to-order products.
  • Bespoke or customised products.
  • Special-order products sourced specifically for a customer.
  • Floor models.
  • Display models.
  • Products identified at the point of sale as non-returnable.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Goods

Please inspect your order as soon as possible after delivery.

If any item arrives damaged, defective, incomplete or incorrect, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible and preferably within 3 days of delivery.

Where appropriate, we may:

  • Arrange repair.
  • Supply replacement parts.
  • Replace the item.
  • Offer a refund.

Each case will be assessed individually.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for purchase.

Refunds are normally processed within 10 working days of receipt and inspection of returned goods.

Any collection charges or deductions for loss in value will be clearly communicated before a refund is finalised.
